Utada Hikaru’s new single: “Come back to me”

I'm reviewing about Utada Hikaru's new Single.

It’s almost time for Utada Hikaru’s new American release! With her new single out, what can expect from the new album?Though I've heard one of them
For people who don’t know her, she’s one of Japan’s top artists with 3 of her Japanese albums in the Top 10 best-selling albums in Japan (#1, #4 and #8). I can actually go on forever about how amazing she is, but I don’t think that’s why you’re here for, so just Google the rest, there’s enough info out there on the net.
So her new single is called “Come back to me“, from her 2nd (technically 3rd) American release called “This is the one”. As I’m writing, the video is still in production, so all I can show you now is the album cover.
So…what’s the song like? Well, it sure is different from her current Japanese work, which has a very unique and distinct style. It’s much more reminiscent of her older albums (especially “First Love“, 1998), yet different. It’s very Pop/R&B like, and maybe a bit simple, but despite that, the song is very catchy. Even though it’s sounds very commercial it does have it’s charm. Some fans on the internet have complained that she’s become a sell-out (yet again) but I have to disagree, and I’ll explain why. Her first (well…technically her 2nd, her first was in January 1998 with an album called “Precious“, which a lot of people never heard of, even her some of her fans) attempt to break into the American market, she also used a very simple, commercial Pop sounding single called “Easy Breezy“, but most of her album (”Exodus“, 2004) had a completely different sound to it. It’s understandable because the American market is just different, and they promoted her as a completely different person than she is in Japan. So probably fans were a bit shocked by that…well, I know I was.
Too bad her attempt to get the Americans’ attention didn’t work out and the album didn’t sell very well, which is a shame because the album contained so many amazing songs that didn’t differ to much from her Japanese style in my eyes. Songs like “Kremlin Dusk“, “About me” and “Animato” are amazing to listen to and really show her skill as a songwriter if you listen to the lyrics well and get the hints towards her personal idols or multi-layered lyrics. And I personally really enjoy lyrics that have subtle hints, referring to things you probably won’t get the first few times you listen to them, like “Kremlin Dusk“. But I just love the way the song is also catchy without understanding the full meaning of the lyrics, or in her words:

“Both things are just as important to me—to be catchy, so when you hear a song on the radio it sticks out, and also to have that depth.” - Taken an interview from her Myspace page

So, what can we expect from her new album? I do think it will be much more like her Japanese albums, which have a very distinct style and “Come back to me” is just to receive airplay. And apparently, it’s working, according to MediaBase US Airplay Reporting, the single is getting a pretty large listening audience, especially compared to her English songs released in 2004. I have high hopes for this album, and even though it may not sell as well as her Japanese ones, I do think the songs on the album are going to be amazing, just like “Exodus“, because she never failed to amaze me with a new album release.
People who worked on the album are Stargate (confirmed for “Me Muero” and “Apple & Cinnamon“) and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, but to be honest, I don’t really care about them, but I’m sure the people who know them do. Another confirmed track is “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence – FYI” referring to the movie “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence” and also includes a sample from Ryuichi Sakamoto, the one who also wrote the musical score and vocal theme “Forbidden Colours“. I YouTubed the guy, and his stuff is pretty cool. Even though piano solo’s aren’t my cup of tea, if it’s incorporated into a Hikki song, I’m sure it’s going to be pretty cool. And apparently she wrote at least 10 of the songs herself on this album, that’s gotta be a whole lot more than some artists have written in their lifetime.
So, what else is there to say? Let’s hope the album is going to be a hit, and give it a listen when it’s out in March!

I’m sorry, sir....I late to posting my assignment.

now...I will tell you about my real story. I'm fall in love with someone. I feel this love in the first sight. Like people said….love at the first sight… First, I don’t trust with them….till I met with her in some occasion.

 

I think she is different from others girls. She is very attractive for me. He is not only beautiful but also smart, sociable, childish, kindly with all people. Her smile is so sweet for me….it can give new spirit for me. She is not too tall… Ehmmm…about my shoulder may be… She has bright skin, pointed nose, oval face and two eyes and two ears certainly… he…he…he….

Humph…..

I can’t expect too much to get her, because I think she is too perfect for me….

If love come to you, follow it…

But….if we audacious to fall in love…

We must audacious to lost in love….

If we hope with someone…

We must ready to disappointed…

Because….someone that we love…have an opportunity to hurt our’ s love

He is a boy ^^ of course!!!..he is cool,smart, and kind. He always quiet if talk with someone.. its so different than me -.-

I think he isn’t talkative person or taciturn… He just talk if it is important, he doesn’t care about what people talk about him… he can think like an adult.. and give me advice if I have problem and sometimes he is very lazy to study.. it makes me amazing why he can be smart with his habits…he has high prestige but he isn’t arrogant..

He like manga and anime so sometimes I talk about my favorite anime with him.. . he like reading and doesn’t like watching TV.. he prefer to play game..than watching TV -like me (.).

He is taller than me… have a good smile.. and thin.. ^^

But…

I can't always look his face.. meet him… but I'm happy with that…

If someone ask to me why I like him… I don’t know why..

It just I like his smile... or his personality…

He can make me angry and happy in one times…

Makes me sad sometimes…

Elephants “The Amazing Mammals”

We know that elephant are one of large land mammals. Elephant has Uniqueness that hasn’t other animals. Now elephants are rare, because there are many people who hunting elephants illegally.

There are three species of elephant are living today (The African Bush Elephant, the African Forest Elephant and the Asian Elephant or Indian Elephants).

There are other species of elephants are extinct like mammoths may have survived as late as 2000 BC. The elephant has appeared in cultures across the world.

They are symbol of wisdom in Asian cultures and are famed their memory and intelligence.

Elephants are unusual animal now living. Beside they have big size of body they also have a long live.

They typically live for so to 70 years, but the oldest recorded elephant live for 82 years. Elephant’s has large ear, long trunk, thick-skinned, and big tusk.

Everyday elephants use their long trunk to take their food. Their Favorite food is plants. Then, the elephant’s gestation period is 22 months, the longest of any land animal.

That’s very amazing!

Cinderella story

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Cinderella. She lived with her step mother and two step sisters.
he step mother and sisters were conceited and bad tempered. They treated Cinderella very badly. Her step mother made Cinderella do the hardest works in the house; such as scrubbing the floor, cleaning the pot and pan and preparing the food for the family. The two step sisters, on the other hand, did not work about the house. Their mother gave them many handsome dresses to wear.
One day, the two step sister received an invitation to the ball that the king’s son was going to give at the palace. They were excited about this and spent so much time choosing the dresses they would wear. At last, the day of the ball came, and away went the sisters to it. Cinderella could not help crying after they had left.
“Why are crying, Cinderella?” a voice asked. She looked up and saw her fairy godmother standing beside her, “because I want so much to go to the ball” said Cinderella. “Well” said the godmother,”you’ve been such a cheerful, hardworking, uncomplaining girl that I am going to see that you do go to the ball”.
Magically, the fairy godmother changed a pumpkin into a fine coach and mice into a coachman and two footmen. Her godmother tapped Cinderella’s raged dress with her wand, and it became a beautiful ball gown. Then she gave her a pair of pretty glass slippers. “Now, Cinderella”, she said; “You must leave before midnight”. Then away she drove in her beautiful coach.
Cinderella was having a wonderfully good time. She danced again and again with the king’s son. Suddenly the clock began to strike twelve, she ran toward the door as quickly as she could. In her hurry, one of her glass slipper was left behind.
A few days later, the king’ son proclaimed that he would marry the girl whose feet fitted the glass slipper. Her step sisters tried on the slipper but it was too small for them, no matter how hard they squeezed their toes into it. In the end, the king’s page let Cinderella try on the slipper. She stuck out her foot and the page slipped the slipper on. It fitted perfectly.
Finally, she was driven to the palace. The king’s son was overjoyed to see her again. They were married and live happily ever after.
